How to Use the Telephone IVR

General Information:

Please have available the following before using the IVR system:

• A pen or pencil and paper;
• Your Permit or Case Number and a List of Inspection Codes.

Call 909-477-2777 and press 1 at the Main Menu to go to the ‘Telephone IVR Home’

Press 1 to schedule inspection and check inspection results

Press 2 to check the status of your Plan Check application (PMT,BPR,DRC,SUBTT,SUBTPM)

Press 3 to review Planning Case Status Information

Schedule inspection and check inspection results

Scheduling a New Inspection: press 1

• You can schedule an inspection up to 4 days in advance
• The cutoff time to schedule an inspection for the next day is 4:30 p.m.
• You can also request a morning or afternoon inspection (please note that we will try to accommodate your time of day request. However we cannot guarantee inspection times)
• The system will prompt you to enter your phone number where an inspector can reach you if necessary
• A confirmation number is provided to you after the inspection is successfully scheduled

Rescheduling an Existing Inspection: press 2

• You can reschedule an inspection up to 4 days in advance
• The cutoff time to schedule an inspection for the next day is 4:30 p.m.
• You can also request a morning or afternoon inspection (please note that we will try to accommodate your time of day request. However we cannot guarantee inspection times)
• The system will prompt you to enter your phone number where an inspector can reach you if necessary
• A confirmation number is provided to you after the inspection is successfully scheduled

Canceling an Inspection: press 3

• You may cancel an inspection any time before 6:30 am on the day of the inspection

Inspection Result Inquiry: press 4

• This option provides the status of your inspection, if your inspection was given a status of correction, you will be informed as to what corrections are needed.

Check the status of your Plan Check application (PMT, BPR, DRC, SUBTT, SUBTPM)

• You can find out in which stage of the Plan Check process your plan check is in
• You can find out how many documents are pending, if any. (PMT and BPR only)
• You can find out the status of your reviews from different departments, whether they are in process or have corrections (PMT, BPR, DRC, SUBTT, SUBTPM only).

Review Planning Case Status Information

• You can find out the case status of a DRC, SUBTT and SUBTPM application.
